Brunei Youth delegation Official Visit to China (10/12/2011 - 18/12/2011)

Enough about E-day...karang kana ucap kemaruk kan kawin. haha..Ok, now I'm updating to u about my visit to China...For FREE!! Asteee...atu tah pulang...Well, it's actually lawatan balas sempena tertubuhnya hubungan antara Brunei dan China sejak 20 tahun lalu. Historically, Brunei and China has been in contact since thousands of years ago, sejak Maharaja Ong Sum Ping berkahwin dengan Puteri Sultan Muhammad Shah, Sultan pertama Brunei.

We visited Beijing, Guizhou and Shenzhen...Flight from Brunei to Hongkong Airport took abt 4hrs and then flight to Beijing took another 3hrs. Imagine on one day, 7hrs of flight! Tapi bila dah sampai hotel and lihat the room...Oh My Gucci!! Feels like treated as VVIP!! Hohoho...

Ok, the next few posts will consist of my pics in the memorable journey.

Before I leave to Brunei Airport:

E-Day Photog...

None other than my old friend, Zaim, who has been in this field for as long as I can remember..To show my support to his works (He and his team are super talented!), I chose him to capture my beautiful moment of life. They call their group Isomorphobic and you can view their facebook:

Dress E-Day

This section talks about my preparation on my engagement dress & tudung. I've been a major fan of turquoise but the process of hunting the right material for this colour is like hell! But thank goodness i found somewhat pretty attractive --> soft turquoise. I found the design from the Pengantin magazine last Oct/Nov and seems similar to the one that Elyana wore during her solemnization ceremony. As for the tudung, I tend to mix tudung masuk (dark turquoise with a bit of manik on the awning) and selendang french lace (soft turquoise)..both were bought at Wisma Muis, KK. To add more elegance, I'm gonna wear a small tiara (which I bought at Ego, The Mall)..and two big brooches (bought at Wisma Merdeka, KK) on both of my shoulders. You know how much I love bling bling! :-p

I even told my BFF to wear purple attire (those that worn during Abby's sanding day) because they are going to escort me downstairs. :-)

Mini Pelamin

Ok...since I'm the eldest and the ONLY daughter in the family, my parents decided to make everything a lil bit extravagant. My soon-to-be mother-in-law cannot sit on the floor so we need a sofa/chair. But instead of making it just like that, me and my mom decided to use a mini pelamin. Plus, the event will be a bit different from the usual because my soon-to-be fiance is going to be put a ring by my dad. It's part of Negeri Sembilan engagement customs since his mom came from there. We put our trust to FM Bridal to give us a simple yet elegant mini pelamin. It's going to be like the pic below but a bit smaller. My theme for my E-day is Fairytale garden so I want the flowers to be in blue, purple and pink.

Ding Dong!!

Ok...been a while I left...so much things to write and I bet a page is not enough..But first, I'm getting engaged!!!!!! *shrieking histerically* I knoooowwwww....the wait is over. It's been almost 6 years we've been together, through ups and down and now we finally reach a decision to tie half a knot. So, 12th Feb 2012 (12.2.2012) will be our remarkable day. Planning was done since the last few months. Honestly, there are tons of things to do!! But thanks to Allah, everything falls to one piece and now we are just waiting for the day.

InsyaAllah, the big day will be in next year time.
